I think that “pending” refers to “sale pending,” which would be a sign of progress toward a coffee house actually going in.
I do hope you are right, Michael. In my weakened condition, I saw it as one step forward, two steps back…the word pending doesn’t carry the freight of ‘coming soon’ to me, but then again, whatthehelldoiknow?
