Apparently these moonbats didn’t get the memo about the war..

Now that Bush and Company have retreated to the ‘it’s the media’s fault for encouraging terrorism’ and the ‘if you are against this war, you are for terrorism’ palaver, one entity within the gov’t seems to have missed the daily message memo.

WASHINGTON – Conditions that could lead to a civil war exist in Iraq, reflecting the “most complex” security challenges since the U.S. invasion in 2003, the XXXXXX said Friday.

The “core conflict” has changed into one pitting Sunni Muslims against Shiites, with the Sunni Arab insurgency overshadowed, it said in a quarterly report to Congress on U.S. efforts to stabilize the country.

In the notably gloomy report, The XXXXX said illegal militias have become more entrenched, especially in Baghdad neighborhoods where they are seen as providers of security as well as basic social services.

Yeah..those batty XXXXXX officials…

Know who they are? those zany Pentagon jokers!

I have always believed that words should mean something and have consequences. For the past 5.5 years we have seen one set after the other of talking points/words spread out from the White House to its loyal followers. One must admit the GOP has gotten pretty good at it too. The current word the Right is using is ‘Islamofasism’. Every where you turn, every Republican you see says these words one or more times in any situation. Past winners have been: activist judges, Democrat Party (code words used by GW Bush as a way of saying the Democratic Party is not democratic), Evildoers, cut and run, death tax, and lots of others.

Well, I have a word that we Dems should use every time a member of the GOP uses one of their words de-jour, and it is “Goose-Stepper”. From Wikipedia and the term ‘Stechschritt’ or ‘Goose-Step’ we have the following defintion:

The Goose-Step “…is a special form of the equal step, which is usually demonstrated in solemn military parades and passes in review of closed units. The marching troops swing their legs from a vertical leg to a nearly horizontally-extending one, bringing it down with a loud simultaneous stepping noise and continuing the cycle in unison.

This takes much practice and dexterity, and so the purpose of the goose-step is the demonstration of absolute discipline and superiority. It emerged from Prussian drilling regulation during the early 19th Century.”

This could be used just as effectively as the use of the words ‘Death Tax’ by the Republicans. Or paraphrasing Ronald Reagon, ‘There you go again, Goose-Stepping like a bunch storm troopers!’
